Chokipeta's Evangelion EVA 01

This is REALLY NICE!

I ordered mine from Amazon.co.jp Shipping was a bit pricey but this book is worth it if you're an Evangelion fan.
It's softbound so the 20 pages will remove with no tearing. A4 size paper, semi gloss magazine stock. The book contains two models, a full standing EVA 01 and a head model:

The head model consists of one page of instructions and three pages of parts.

The full standing figure consists of five instruction pages and eleven parts pages.

As with all of Chokipetas' designs the graphics are exceptional and the designs are true to the original subject. If you've not seen a chokipeta model You can still download one of his Giant Robo models here. You can also find a download or two at the artists website.

Finally Back To Building

~daadaa over at Deviant Art http://daadaa.deviantart.com/ has created a nice little EVA model. 20.6cm high, 3 pages. Well, you know me....
He was kind enough to provide me an unlocked pattern so I've done "my thing" and scaled it to 54cm high, 15 pages.
Let's get building!

Hell comes a' knocking at my door

Actually it was the mail carrier with a package from Hell.
Hell Pizza that is.
Hell Pizza is a chain of resturaunts in New Zealand. They caught my attention due to the fact that their pizza boxes also come equipped with a punchout foldup of a coffin to place your leftovers in.
While they don't deliver to the US (Yeah, I asked. I also wanted a Tee Shirt...) My friend George (aka Jawj, just Jawj) was kind enough to send me a box, menu, temporary tattoos and some beautiful literature on his beloved Christchurch.
Thanks Jawj!

The Return of Rons' Rods

Ron Kemp designs stylized paper hot rods that would turn the head of The Big Daddy himself.
After a brief hiatus he's back online with a Smartgroups Forum. His originals may also be downloaded from my Guest Page.
