Black Shark first steps

The main hull is broken into three sections, front, rear and a center which slides inside the other two. Looks like my model will be about 18" long.

Black Shark

Latitude Zero (Japanese Title: Latitude Zero: Great Military Battle) was a film made in the late sixties by Toho. In typical Toho fashion it does feature the usual assortment of Toho monsters. It also features the Black Shark, a wicked cool submarine. When someone makes a paper model of some thing this cool I have got to build it. You can download yours here.
The photo is from the designers website. I'll be posting mine as I build.

Old School Anime Paper Models

Two classics I was glad to acquire;
Captain Harlocks' Arcadia and The Space Battle Cruiser Yamato.
My Arcadia was purchased from Jimbo's Paper ModelWorld.
It is also available along with the Yamato from Hobbylink Japan.

Gundam RX-93 nu and Finalpaper

Finalpaper is a huge Korean papermodel website/online community. They offer builders forums, model announcements, and for members, a paper model design school. This Gundam is one of the students designs and is extremely well done. I've been two weeks into assembly at the point shown in the photo and should be finished fairly soon.
